About Us!

We live just west of Sapulpa on Hiway 33 close to the  infamous Route 66, just a few miles out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

We restored the oldest building in downtown Sapulpa (built in 1902).  It was the home of City Drug for 82 years. See History Link.

We then decided to build a loft apartment in the upstairs of an old building in Sapulpa,  We lived there 5 yrs. See the link for loft apartment.

When we have time, we enjoy climbing on the old Gold Wing and traveling a bit. Of course we hit several antiques stores on the way.  Vern prefers this method of antiquing as you can't carry much on the Gold Wing!!!

Back in his younger days, Vern rode motorcycles in competition sports, mostly Enduro events.  Now we just travel around and enjoy watching the young guys do it.  We enjoy helping out in the promotion of events and in the scoring.  Through Vern's motorcycle experiences, we also have developed our own scoring programs for competive motorcyle events. We travel around to various locations and score these ISDE type events.

We recently (Oct 2005),  purchased 10 acres west of Sapulpa on Hiway 33 in Creek county.  It had
a 30 by 50 shop building (pole barn) on it, a 200 foot water well, two septic tanks, and no house!  We
figured on moving in a house and remodeling  etc. but recently discovered the web site of  Log home builders.Org in Washington state. 
After attending a two day course on log home building, we decided to build a log home on this site. A huge portion of this web site will
